Strategy |
Caribbean Association of Indigenous Banks Inc (CAIB) has a history of outstanding service to our members and, like all proactive organisations in today's dynamic and evolving financial services environment recognises that there must be evolution of strategy and approach in order to keep abreast of relevant developments. CAIB aims to be as nimble and adaptable as its members in predicting and managing change, in order to remain relevant and provide excellent value.
In January 2005 CAIB began the process, of developing an actionable Strategic Plan to guide the Association in the achievement of its overall objectives of facilitating the growth and development of indigenous financial institutions in the region.
CAIB, using the prescribed methodology, developed our Balanced Scorecard to describe, execute and monitor our winning strategy which will assist us to achieve our vision. The Balanced Scorecard defines the value proposition provided to our members and other customers and describes in detail how we will organise ourselves and execute our strategy to deliver on that value proposition broken down:
ü Superior Advocate
ü Premier Networking Platform
ü Best Source of Information
ü Responsive, Efficient, Effective Service Delivery
Our Strategy Map provides a detailed visual roadmap of how we execute and implement our value proposition. (See below)

We deliver on our value proposition through an innovative, well led, well governed, well resourced and financially sustainable organisation, guided by our core values.
